Sunday Sessions at Sankey's

With all the musical melodies emanating throughout the Old Fishmarket recently, we felt it was only right to show some love to the Seafood Kitchen & Bar – which is why we’re thrilled to announce the first Sankey’s Sunday Session!

After impressing down on The Pantiles during our weekly evenings of dinner and jazz, we’ll be welcoming the brilliant David Mumford to perform up on Mount Ephraim during the afternoon of Sunday 1August, with both a set from 1-2pm and a follow up from 2.30-3.30pm. That’s not all though, as we’ll be making the interlude one to remember (at least for the tastebuds anyway) as we’ll be serving a classic seafood paella for a real Sankey’s summer celebration. Or go for something off the regular menu – whatever floats your boat.

Back to the tunes though, and for those not familiar with the local legend that is David and his style; expect fingerpicking ballads and uplifting summertime songs that define his upbeat take on modern, acoustic music. If there’s any reason to get the gang together for a singsong, or to just click your fingers if you know your voice isn’t quite up to the level of David’s, this will be it.
