Looking ahead to Pub in the Park

Seafood Restaurant in Kent Their Offers at Pub in the Park

One bit of sun the other week, and we’re already dreaming of those blue skies, warm evenings, and good times in July. That’s not the sole reason though, as the recent fleeting visit of sunshine to Tunbridge Wells just so happened to coincide with the finalisation and announcement of our mouth-watering Pub in the Park menu!

We’re delighted to be heading back to Dunorlan Park for our third year at the ever-growing festival, which is why we set out on a mission to combine dishes that are much-loved Sankey’s classics but also exciting enough to bring you on over to our pop-up tent once more. So without further ado, let us give you a glimpse into what we’ll be cooking up in just over three months’ time:

Billy the Squid– The clue’s in the name for this one, as we’ll be serving sautéed squid on a salad bed of macerated red onion, chillies, and ginger. It’ll be a fresh dish witha bit of a kick as well, perfect to reinvigorate you before getting those dancing shoes on.

Po’ Boys – We couldn’t possibly hit the road with arguably the most iconic option from the Seafood Kitchen & Bar. You should know the deal by now, panko prawns, chipotle mayonnaise, a squeeze of lime, and a brioche bun to capture all those fantastic flavours. The weekend wouldn’t be complete without trying one.

Trio of Oysters– From Mount Ephraim to the Old Fishmarket, our oysters will deliver the finer side of Sankey’s to your taste buds. Enjoy a natural oyster alongside a tomatillo salsa, a grilled oyster with a butter bearnaise sauce, and finally a crispy oyster with champagne mayonnaise as well as caviar to top things off. Fancy, we know.

Vegan Ceviche –As much as we love our seafood, we couldn’t leave our plant-based friends hanging with this take on a ceviche consisting of banana blossom, and a citrusy Tiger Milk to macerate the vegetables. Designed for vegans, we’re pretty sure even the biggest of meat eaters will have a soft spot for this one.

Whet your appetite enough? Thought so. Now that you’ve stopped drooling, get yourself on over to the Pub in the Park website, and purchase your tickets for some non-stop delicious fun on July 8th, 9th, and 10th. We’ll see you then!
