Father's Day

Father’s Day is coming up, and we’re on hand to help if you’ve left things late when it comes to putting a smile on the old man’s face this time round. Don’t worry though, as there’s just enough time to act on the handy hints we’re about to reel off -*spoiler alert* they entirely involve yours truly.

What says “Day out with Dad” more than a trip to the pub? He won’t be the only lucky one with his pint in hand though, as on Sundays it’s the ideal (and only) time to tuck into mouth-watering delights including roast beef, hake, ½ lobster, and cauliflower steak. Been eyeing up on our end-of-week specials? This is the perfect excuse to treat yourself as well. We won’t tell anyone – promise.

The Old Fishmarket

Okay so we know our site on The Pantiles isn’t open on the day itself, but a trip to the Old Fishmarket is always worth the wait – especially if you’re dad’s darling child. Don something fancy, enjoy a glass of sparkling and a few oysters, and if you decide to swing by on a Thursday, take in the jazzy sounds our weekly changing musicians have to offer.
