If you’ve either been reading our blog, keeping tabs on our social media channels, or best of all swinging by to the Seafood Kitchen & Bar, you’ll know we’ve been hard at work refurbishing our downstairs space. It’s been a long time coming, but we’re delighted to say it’s officially back open and better than ever!
With bold navy walls, and earthy colours when it comes to the furniture, we think we’ve achieved a look that’s not only atmospheric, but also something unlike you’ve ever seen at Sankey’s before. In fact, you could say it truly blurs the lines between both our sites on Mount Ephraim and the Pantiles, as while of course you can still pop in for a cheeky pint upstairs, this restaurant area can equally provide a sophisticated experience for you and your party.
Speaking of which, because it’s capable of hosting 52 covers, with all tables sufficiently spaced out too, we’ve opened up just in time for you to hold your festive celebrations with us. Whether you’re revealing your Secret Santa gifts and tucking into our Christmas menu with just a few of your best work mates, or alternatively bringing the whole team along, you’ll be in for an experience that’s as comfortable as it is delicious.
The work doesn’t stop there though, as with the inside sorted while temperatures drop and things get a bit wetter, we’re moving straight ahead with our garden in order to provide a winter wonderland rivalling that of The Old Fishmarket. Expect a heated, fully covered, and relaxed environment in which to wet the whistle or even tuck into something appetising should you so wish.
There won’t belong to wait though, as we aim to have this space up and ready for all our guests to enjoy in the coming weeks as well. How will you know? Well, the answer’s in the first line of this blog post! Just keep checking back here, on social media, or simply pop in and ask us how things are going – we’re just as excited as you are…
