Read our last blog? Well then you’ll know the Seafood Kitchen & Bar’s garden is the place to be this summer. So good in fact that we know it might seem like a bit of a chore going back and forth to the bar not only to order, but to work out what you want in the first place from our mega selection of craft beers. Fear not though, as we’ve gone to the effort of pointing out five of our favourites from the current crop, with a few handy notes to make life that little bit easier:
Soundwave(5.6%)
Siren Craft Brew officially welcomes you to tropical hop heaven with this banger. An IPA made with Citra, Simcoe, Chinook, and Columbus hops, savour its inviting haze before taking in all those fruity notes and a resinous finish to top things off.
Framboise (3.6%)
Few things beat a few raspberries in the summer, right? Especially when they’re blended with a wheat beer from Belgium, resulting in a light beverage that’s full of fruit, sweetness, and a spritz finish. Give it a go for something a bit different.
Kaleidoscope(4.2%)
Nothing says changing of the seasons quite like this brew. That’s because the guys at Wiper& True switch up their combination of three hops depending on the time of year, but always manage to create a beer that’s bright, refreshing, and always worth a pint or two.
Magic Rock (3.9%)
Low in strength(for an IPA that is), but high in flavour, this gem from Magic Rock is a fruity sensation. Hopped with Citra and Ekuanot, enjoy all the tropical fruit and citrus aromas as well as its fully body and slightly bitter finish. This one is balanced across the board, and well worth coming back to time and time again.
Juicy AF(0.5%)
Don’t worry we haven’t forgotten about our designated drivers, nor the boys over at Only With Love. An alcohol-free version of their best-selling juicy pale, this combination of Citra dry-hops and mango will have your tastebuds jet setting off to the tropics – just without the hangover this time round!
In the mood for a beer? Well there’s more where that came from, especially with the upcoming Tiny Rebel Birthday Takeover which we’ll be revealing more about soon. Stay tuned!
