If you’ve paid us a visit recently at the Seafood Kitchen & Bar, you might have noticed things aren’t quite as spick and span as you might expect downstairs – but for good reason! We’re currently in the process of refurbishing our basement space to give it a new lease of life and make our Mount Ephraim site even more of ago-to destination than it is already.
There’s no need to worry about any disturbances to your time with us though, as the bulk of the work is taking place on Mondays and Tuesdays to align with our ‘days off’. Speaking of times and dates though, we’re particular excited for our new fully retractable roof to be installed at the beginning of next week! Although it’ll be a shame to say goodbye to our old tent, this exciting feature will allow us to bathe in the sunshine or, alternatively, cover the entire garden if we’re in need of shelter from the elements.
That’s not all though; as while the garden is being transformed with new furniture, the same can be said with the restaurant space that’ll be opening up in our atmospheric basement as well! Just swinging by for a few drinks though? We’ve got you covered too with sofas completing the look upstairs in the bar for you to sip on something special in fine style.
Whilst we do apologise for not looking our best at this moment in time, we’re sure you’ll understand once the renovation is complete and you’re tucking into something delicious from the state-of-the-art kitchen we had installed during the second lockdown.
If you’re intrigued as to what our basement will soon resemble, we do have a mood board set up for our customers to browse and get an idea of what we’re going for with a spectrum of colours, textures, and decorations. Pop in and have a look!
