As a third-generation restaurateur, Matthew Sankey delivers restaurant quality catering and heart felt care to the motorsport paddock.
Across our three sites - The George and Dragon Inn, Sankey’s Seafood and The Old Fishmarket - our people come first. Great hospitality begins within.
Sankey’s Hospitality was born in a village pub in 1960 and ever since, we’ve been proud to serve our communities with warmth, generosity and honest hospitality.
We’re a proud and ambitious family business, rooted in Kent, shaped by tradition and fuelled by a deep love of great food, proper drink and good people. Across every plate and pint, we pour care, pride and personality into what we do because for us, hospitality isn’t a job. It’s who we are.
Every team has different needs. We exist to support those who require a higher level of service, adaptability and personal care than the standard offering provides.

We understand the demands of the paddock because we have lived it. Meal times are moments of connection, reflection and motivation.
Why teams choose Sankey's:
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and continuous service from load-in to pack-down.
Bespoke nutrition plans, meal timing around stints, hydration and energy support.
Nutritious snacks, hydration breaks, coffee and recovery focused options.
Premium front of house service for sponsors, visitors and drivers’ families.
We operate anywhere. Garages, motorhomes, mobile kitchens or full hospitality units.

Our experience in 24-hour racing shows us that teams need a different level of support.
Alongside Pete Webster, Human Performance Manager at Alpine F1, we have developed a 24 hour menu that provides teams with the nutrition, energy and motivation needed to not just survive a 24 hour race, but to feel at their peak throughout.
This winning formula has propelled teams such as JOTA to multiple class wins at Le Mans.
I think we all agree that this was the very best on-event catering we have ever had and from my side the most cost-effective too. Thank you and your team for all the hard work in providing JOTA with catering.
Sam Hignett | Owner - Hertz Team JOTA

We coordinate with race engineers and physios to ensure perfect timing and balance. Whether it’s a pre-stint carb load, post-race recovery or a specific dietary requirement, we deliver without compromise.
Having had the pleasure of being looked after all season by Matthew and his team was delightful. There is a lot to be said for an easy-going hospitality team within a sports environment and the familiarity it brings. Matthew’s eagerness to accommodate even the smallest wishes really shows how much he cares and wants to make a difference.

Our goal is simple. To nourish performance, support wellbeing and most importantly, celebrate success. Based in Kent, operating worldwide.
In motorsport every advantage counts, but the right people behind you make the biggest difference. With Sankey’s we’ve found a partner who lifts the whole team. Their care, energy and attention mean our people feel valued, fuelled and ready to give everything from the first session to the final lap.
